Welcome to Carley Bakes RVA! I'm Carley, the mastermind behind this sweet little business born out of a passion for baking. Today, I want to share a heartfelt story with you, and invite you to experience the joy that comes from indulging in my delectable creations.
Baking has always held a special place in my heart. For as long as I can remember, the kitchen has been my sanctuary, where ingredients blend like music notes and scents waft like comforting melodies. It's where my creativity finds its voice, and where my soul finds solace.
However, life often presents us with unexpected challenges. In the midst of a storm, my heart was shattered when my  brother Ian left this world far too soon. In those dark days of sorrow and grief, it was baking that gently cradled me in its warm embrace, offering solace and healing. 
As I found solace in the rhythm of kneading dough and the aroma of freshly baked goods, my supportive family and friends recognized the power that baking had in my life. Encouraged by their unwavering belief, I decided to embrace my hobby fully and channel my passions into a business venture that would bring joy not only to myself, but also to those around me.
